Atualmente, estamos passando por uma fase delicada, porque o mundo todo passa por um mesmo processo de stress, angústia, incerteza e tristeza, pela perda de parentes e amigos. Cada vez mais, percebemos que a síndrome da cabana, que é o isolamento excessivo, o medo de sair de casa, passa a invadir os lares.
Medo não é e nem nunca foi o inverso de coragem, pois mesmo quem tem coragem, também sente medo. Segundo especialistas, o medo é dividido em 2 tipos: o racional, quando pautado em algo possível e o irracional, quando não faz sentido e mesmo assim ele se faz presente. O medo é totalmente biológico, quando o sistema nervoso é ativado é feita a liberação de hormônios, como a adrenalina que pode aumentar a frequência cardíaca e respiratória. Enfim, é importante destacar que o medo é um reflexo emocional, que serve para nos adaptarmos ao meio em que vivemos. Quer dizer, quando o medo é encarado como algo “saudável”, e enfrentado com sensatez, ele pode te ajudar a se preparar adequadamente para uma situação.
Especialistas em habilidades socioemocionais, contam que o stress, que é provocado quando a gente tem a emoção do medo, o cérebro quando recebe, ele interpreta como; “eu não sou capaz de lidar com isso” e então o resultado é um sentimento de negatividade que pode provocar a ansiedade e, algumas vezes, a paralisia. Esta “paralisia”, pode prejudicar o estado emocional, causado um estresse e um medo irracional. Este medo, trava a pessoa é como se ela entrasse num ciclo de pensamentos e sentimentos negativos, causando angústia, ansiedade, fobia e às vezes um trauma. Neste momento o cortisol que é liberado, vai agindo de forma a alimentar, cada vez mais, este ciclo. E nesta fase se faz necessário, o tratamento deste trauma, desta fobia.
Um grande exemplo deste tipo é a síndrome do pânico. Sua mente vai trazendo à tona as memórias vividas naquele momento fatídico, que lhe causaram o trauma. Neste momento sua mente está mentindo para você. Fazendo você sentir algo que já passou, não está acontecendo novamente, mas o seu corpo, não consegue identificar se aquilo está acontecendo realmente ou se é apenas uma lembrança, ele trata como algo real, neste momento, a pessoa perde o controle, passa a ser um medo irracional.
Tentando fugir desse ciclo, precisamos mais do que nunca, sermos racionais nesta hora. Entendo que nesta fase, em que todos estamos vivenciando, a dificuldade é grande, mas se não focarmos em outras coisas, o processo só tende a piorar. O tempo não parou, estamos cada vez mais na esperança de uma cura universal. Mas enquanto ela não chega, temos que nos esforçar, para termos uma qualidade de vida.
Muitas vidas se foram, mas muitas ainda resistem e outras estão vivendo ou tentando viver com consciência de seus atos, suas atitudes em relação a si próprio e em prol de outros.
Mais do que nunca, deve-se ter uma atenção com a alimentação, buscando mais qualidade, para que o corpo tenha a imunidade e o restabelecimento necessário. Precisamos nos exercitar, que seja uma caminhada, já ajuda. Nunca foram tão preciosos aqueles momentos em que podemos nos expor ao sol, respirar um pouco, buscar novas atividades, que nos distraiam. Sair deste círculo vicioso, notícias de morte e aumento de casos de doenças, a preocupação, a incerteza, angústia…
Troque o noticiário por um desenho animado, uma comédia, um romance, um livro, uma música. Algo que traga leveza, busque exercitar a mente, distraí-la, mantê-la ocupada, que te faça sentir bem. O medo é uma reação involuntária e natural, com a qual nós, seres humanos, convivemos ao longo de nossas vidas. O que não podemos permitir é que este medo, nos transforme em pessoas limitadas, desmedidas, desproporcionais, que não conseguem pensar em possibilidades, em olhar e analisar as situações por ângulos diferentes.
