Tudo começou com Esther Hicks, uma autora estadunidense que co-escreveu nove livros com seu marido Jerry Hicks. Ela já realizou várias palestras sobre a lei da atração e apareceu na versão original do filme “O Segredo”. Segundo Esther, seus livros foram traduzidos de um grupo de entidades não físicas, chamadas Abraham. De acordo a técnica de Abraham, um pensamento puro manifestado em 17 segundos torna o desejo raiz desse pensamento mais poderoso e com mais possibilidade de realização.
Abdruschin, pseudônimo do autor Oskar Ernst Bernhardt, diz na dissertação “Despertai!”: “Conservai puro o foco dos vossos pensamentos, com isso estabelecereis a paz e sereis felizes!”. Nesse trecho, ele afirma que devemos ter o foco nos pensamentos puros e que esse foco não seria para onde o pensamento é direcionado, mas sim, de onde ele é fabricado, ou seja, o ponto central de sua origem. Assim, aquele que tem esses pensamentos com frequência, teria uma vida de paz.
Pensamentos puros são aqueles livres de negatividade. Qualquer pensamento que cause desconforto, pode ser considerado impuro; como pensamentos de rejeição, revolta, ódio, inveja, entre outros.
Mas como poderíamos manifestar o poder dos 17 segundos? Para começar, devemos concentrar nosso pensamento puro em 17 Segundos e logo em seguida ligar mais um pensamento por mais 17 segundos e assim por diante, até chegar a 68 segundos. Abraham diz que 17 segundos equivalem a 2 mil horas trabalhadas, já 68 segundos, equivalem a 2 milhões de horas trabalhadas.
No mundo em que vivemos, é comum darmos 17 segundos para pensamentos de tragédias que, consequentemente, atraem mais 17 segundos de pensamentos impuros; até termos 68 segundos de uma vida atraída para tudo que é ruim. Mas se você não quer isso para sua vida, então, pratique a técnica dos 17 segundos todos os dias sem deixar que nenhum pensamento ruim interfira no processo.
Comece com apenas um pensamento no primeiro dia, por 17 segundos. No segundo dia, aumente mais um pensamento e mais outro, no terceiro dia. Lembre-se, seus pensamentos devem estar diretamente ligados à raiz do seu desejo. Por exemplo, pensamento um: “Nossa, que bolsa linda. Ela combina muito comigo; pensamento dois: “É estilosa, exatamente a cor que adoro”. Use frases no presente, mesmo que o pedido ainda não tenha sido realizado.
